Factory Light Festival is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to see our Limelight Academy Projection Mapping Masterclass applicants showing their artworks to a crowd of locals and art fans from around the world on the amazing concrete silos of the beautiful city of Slemmestad.
“Absolutely mind blowing!” ” I can’t breath this is amazing.” “Just.. WOW… what an amazing visual performance!”
These are some of the comments on our artworks lately. 3d projection mapping became one of the most spectacular forms of audio visual art. It’s a unique experience for any audience and it’s becoming a popular highlight of world class events.
“It’s brilliant! I have a client who’d love a projection mapping like that. What’s the price?”
How can a projection mapping artwork look as good as the animation looking on screen?
As a beginner in video mapping you’ll ask this question often and might go a long way to get to the answer. You can create the best 3d animation ever and it might not look like the way you had on your screen at all. The other day you go and give it a try on a different surface with a different projector and with an animation content that is just really simple and it works much better.
We’re honored that our 3d projection mapping artwork Interconnection was featured on CNN Indonesia! Even not understanding a word of it we’re extremely proud to see the video! If any of you reading this speaks the language just feel free to give us a brief translation in a comment we’re really curious about what do they say..:D
